ice cream cone cupcakes

for jonah's 2nd birthday party here in texas i decided to make cupcakes, so i bought some funfetti cake mix...

threw it in a bowl...

preheated the oven to 350...

and then busted out some barquillos!

did you know you could make cupcakes in ice cream cones? me neither until i did a little searching online for fun food for kids parties!

this was the test batch to see how much batter to put in each cone...

ok, we're ready for mass production!

yummy golden goodness in a cone!

add some frosting and some sprinkles, throw them on a tray in the shape of a 2 and let the party begin!!!
