Jonah's 1st Toofers!

Jonah got his 1st two teeth this month! (more pictures)

His 1st tooth poked through the surface on Easter morning, April 8th. His 2nd tooth showed up right about the day Daddy got back from a six day business trip, April 26th. Here's a couple pictures of those elusive little puppies...

Jonah's 1st Easter

What a fun Easter we had with Jonah this year!

We colored Easter eggs with the Noes. Here are Jaycob's Star Wars masterpieces...

And cute little bunny Zack with his Sesame Street eggs...

We were going to let Jonah help, but we were afraid he'd try to drink the vinegar dye water or eat one of the eggs! So he just played in the funny farm and Jaycob helped entertain him...

"Good little baby Jonah!"

Could they be any cuter?

Easter morning the bunny brought lots of treats, including some bunny ears, new plastic bibs, some sippy cups, Jonah spoons & forks, and lots of peeps!

The Noe bunny also brought some goodies over the day before Easter. Jonah just loves his new Bulls hat!

After church we went Grandma & Grandpa's house for Easter lunch with Grandpa's side of the family. Great Aunt Margaret & Great Uncle John brought Jonah an Elmo book and a CAT (as in Caterpillar) shirt & sweatshirt.

"Thanks guys! I love eating it all! I mean I love it all!"

We had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard. Jonah, cousin Kylee and Lisa's cousin Chris & Michelle's kids Ian & Taylor found lots of eggs filled with candy, fruit snacks and coupons for bubbles and stickers!

Aunt Mowgi was very excited to help Jonah find an egg!

Here's Jonah havin' fun with Great Aunt Pat!

And the true reason for the season... Thank you Jesus for dying for all of us! You are an amazing God with an amazing love!

Daddy pushing Jonah on the swing

We went for a family walk while the weather was still nice one evening last week. We stopped at our neighborhood park so daddy could experience first hand Jonah's excitement and love of swinging on the swings...

Comments:

I got an email from my cousin Liz. I just wanted to share her son William's reaction to the videos...

"That is a really, really cute video. That’s the best part of babies, their unbridled enthusiasm!!

"William watched the movies with me and said “Again! Again!” then, “Baby! Again!” He was quite entranced. He even grabbed the mouse so he could click to start the movie over. I had to drag him away from the computer!"

Jonah's 6 month doctor's visit

Jonah had his 6 month doctor's appointment today. He did great! He weighed in at 19 lbs. 14 oz. and is 28 inches long/tall. That put him in the 90th percentile for weight and the 100th percentile for height. That might explain why he's outgrowing his 12 month onesies at this point. He's our big little boy that's for sure!

The doctor said he looks great. Good tone. He's reaching all of his developmental milestones on target and it looks like those little teeth should be sprouting through any day now. She said his gums looked like they were swollen, so it shouldn't be long now.

She also said we could bump him up to three meals a day. I don't think that will be a problem considering he looooves the solid foods! So far he's had rice cereal, sweet potatos, squash, and pears - his favorite so far. Here's Jonah and his adventure in green beans from this afternoon... (notice the green beans on the forehead)

What a mess! But it's pretty fun to watch. He barely lets you take the time to scoop the next bite before he starts yelling at you to feed him more. And today he kept trying to grab the spoon, so I finally let him hold it.

He's still got those blocked tear ducts, that's why he's got teary, goobery eyes all the time. So we're going to see a specialist in the next few weeks. The doctor said if it doesn't seem to be getting better by the time he's 8 months old they'll do a procedure to clear out his ducts.

Jonah boy also got more shots today. Three of them, poor little guy. But he was a real trooper. He just let out one big cry when they stuck him, but it wasn't really too bad. As soon as they were done I scooped him up and tried to distract him. It went much better than our last visit. He's so tough!

I think that's about it. Our next visit will be when he's 9 months old.

Here's a couple more recent pictures. Jonah just discovered his feet the day before he turned 6 months old...
